Dr. Parthasarathy is an internationallyknown cardiovascular scientist who holdsThe UCFCollege of Medicine’s Florida Hospital EndowedChairin Cardiovascular Sciences and Professor of Medicine.
Dr. Parthasarathy is a recognized for his discovery of oxidized LDL. He has authored more than285publications and a book on atherosclerosis. He has also received more than40,000 citations of his research findings. He hasreceived numerous awards, including a special recognition award by the AmericanHeart Association, the van Deenen memorial award and the Ranbaxi award.
Dr. Parthasarathy received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science and didpost-doctoral training at the Kyoto University-Japan, Duke University and theUniversity of Minnesota. In addition to Ohio State, he has served at the Universityof California-San Diego, Emory University and Louisiana State University.He also holdsa MBA degree in technology management.
