Helen Martin is the current Secretary of the Asia-Pacific Federation flor Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine and the immediate Past-President of the Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists (AACB). She also served as a Member, Registrar and Chief Examiner the AACB. She is a corresponding member with the IFCC Committee for Conferences and Congresses and the Committee on Plasma Proteins and was a member of the AACB Working Group for Standardization of Reporting in Electrophoresis and the Kidney Health Australia Working Group for Proteinuria and Albuminuria. Helen was awarded an Outstanding Service Medallion by the AACB in 2011 and was the recipient of the AACB Roman Lectureship in 2012.
Her current position is Senior Medical Scientist at SA Pathology in South Australia.
